The SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter is a 6.3GHz low‑frequency radar level instrument designed for reliable measurement in harsh process conditions. It can penetrate foam and condensed deposits, maintaining stable readings despite steam, mixed gas, pressure, and temperature variations. This non‑contact radar level meter is widely used for continuous level measurement of liquids, slurries, and granular materials in metal, non‑metal tanks, and pipelines.
The SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter uses microwave pulse technology operating in industrial frequency bands. With low beam energy, it sends narrow microwave pulses downward through the integrated sealed antenna. After reflecting off the medium surface, the signal is received and converted into an accurate level value. The high speed of electromagnetic waves ensures almost instantaneous measurement response.
The SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter features strong beam penetration at 6.3GHz, making it suitable for highly corrosive environments and hygienic applications.
The large rod antenna of the SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter resists condensation and material build‑up, ensuring stable measurement.
Compared with high‑frequency radar, the SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter performs better in measuring corrosive liquids, bubbly or foamy surfaces, and turbulent liquid levels.
The integrated sealed antenna design enhances durability and stability for long‑term industrial use.

Install the SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter at the center or symmetry axis of the vessel for optimal measurement.
Maintain a distance of at least 500 mm between the SLDL5215 rod type radar level meter and the vessel wall.
If the distance requirement cannot be met, perform fault signal suppression during commissioning. Repeat suppression when build‑up occurs on the vessel wall to ensure accuracy.
